We are seeking a dedicated Support Associate to join our team.
The Family Support Associate (FSA) is responsible for administering House operations both during and after business hours, ensuring the overall safety and effective management of the House.
The FSA is also responsible for taking care of family needs, addressing concerns in a professional and caring manner, and for assisting with regular chores and housekeeping duties in common areas of the House.

Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities 1.
Conduct guest registration, check ins/check outs, room checks, occupancy statuses, and other guest-related processes.
2.
Conduct frequent walk-throughs of the facility and communicate with guests on a daily basis.
Accurately document House andguest issues and concerns, maintaining guest confidentiality.
Report problems to the Director of Operations as necessary.
3.
Maintain 100% occupancy and update the guest list as needed to accurately reflect those staying at the House.
Coordinateeffectively with social workers at Children's Hospital to provide families with housing services.
4.
Coordinate effectively with the RMHC Family Support Coordinator to ensure that the daily needs of guests are fulfilled,including those needs associated with room/stay accommodations, internet access, food, etc.
Be friendly with guests toensure that they feel welcome.
5.
Regularly acknowledge the arrival of in-kind donations and support groups.
6.
Maintain the safety and security of House guests by adhering to entrance and security protocols and by monitoring facilitiesusing the security camera system.
7.
Perform data entry of guest information or donation information as needed.
8.
Regularly supervise and monitor volunteers, ensuring that volunteers are working effectively.

Other assigned duties Secondary Responsibilities 1.
Assist in the daily enforcement of House rules, policies, and procedures with guests.
2.
Consistently adhere to established standards to ensure client confidentiality as required by HIPAA and other healthcareregulations and guidelines.
Follow established safety policies and procedures and adhere to the policies and proceduresoutlined in the employee handbook.
3.
Attend and actively participate in required meetings, including quarterly House Department meetings and group discussions.
4.
Maintain professional hygiene and appearance to promote a positive image of RMHC, a professional example to staff, andinstill client trust.
5.
Assist with other duties as assigned or as related to the overall management of all Operations Department activities, including occasional assistance with RMHC events or activities for guest families.

Qualifications:
Education oA high school diploma or equivalent is required.
An associate degree or equivalent is preferred.
Certificate in hotel management is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of one to two years of experience and/or training in working with children or families is required.
A minimum of two years of experience and/or training in general office administration is required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of hospitality and customer service/client services basics.
Knowledge of emergency procedures related to facilities that house guests.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and logistical skills.
A high level of integrity, confidentiality, work ethic, compassion, and trustworthiness.
The ability to handle cash in a prudent and trustworthy manner.
The ability to contribute to and work within diverse team environments.
The ability to work independently as well as coordinate with and supervise others.
The ability to handle emotional situations and be sensitive to individuals and families that are struggling with hardships.
The ability to speak and write in Spanish is preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
