21 Description:
We are seeking a reliable, efficient metal fabricator to join our growing team.
In this position, you will fabricate and assemble parts, pieces, and products using an array of tools and equipment.
Emphasis on quality, a dedication to performing work accurately, and a keen attention to detail are a must.
Essential Functions Read Blue prints and verify the parts required prior to assembly.
Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment.
Measuring and marking out cutting and bend lines.
Setting up metalwork machinery including rollers, drill presses, flame cutters, brakes and shears.
Double checking design specifications before commencing with cutting work.
Fabricating and constructing metal components.
Grinding and finishing completed products.
Performing quality checks on completed products.
Education and Experience High school diploma or GED.
Two or more year of metal fabrication.
Simple shop math.
Ability to use/read tape measures.
Working knowledge of using calipers & micrometers a plus.
Ability to read and write English, comprehend and follow verbal and written instructions.
