Approves in-process production via visual inspections and quality analysis; communicating any potential issues or required adjustments needed with to production line operator.
Approves finished products by confirming USDA and/or customer specifications; conducting visual inspections, quality analysis, and CCP testing; returning products for re-work; confirming re-work.
Documents inspection results by completing relevant documentation and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
Keeps measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; notifying supervisor when non-conformities are found and repairs are needed.
Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following company's good manufacturing practices and procedures; complying with all food safety and legal regulations and internal protocols.
Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; on the job training, reading technical publications.
Participate in out-of-specification and/or failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
(as needed) Have reliable transportation.
Able to lift 10-50lbs.
Able to work on feet and stand for long hours.
Able to work independently or as part of a team.
Able to multitask and work in fast paced environment.
Has basic computer skills Has basic math skills Will be required to assist with Sanitation as needed.
Can work in warehouse environment - no temperature control - ambient temperature.
Able to work assigned shifts with some flexibility based on needs of production.
