75 an hour 12 days ago 12 days ago 12 days ago FOOD 4 LESS LOSS PREVENTION ASSOCIATE The employee is under the direct supervision of the Store Director/Grocery Manager.
The primary responsibility of Loss Prevention is to ensure safety of people and property from any sort of damages, theft or violence.
The duties and responsibilities are as follows:
Patrol store - recover merchandise that has been dumped Secure perimeter doors - periodically throughout your shift Stores with outside areas - be sure they are locked and secured Watch for shoplifting activity Visual checks on customer purchases on the bottom of the baskets (BOB) Loss Prevention Officers must detect and apprehend shoplifters and follow up on police reports and court cases.
Apprehension reports and pictures to be filled completely out on all cases-IN DETAIL.
For every incident - Video surveillance of the entire shopping experience for the customer - from when they first enter the store to when they actually are leaving through the exit doors.
Must log all daily activities during your scheduled shifts.
SKILLS NEEDED:
1 year experience in Loss Prevention/Security Good communication skills Ability to handle and resolve conflicts Attention to detail Ability to act fast in emergencies Adequate knowledge of first-aid Honesty, dedication and integrity Knowledge and ability to secure a premise Conduct yourself in a professional manner The minimum requirement for a Food 4 Less Loss Prevention Associate is 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
