This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); and D) experience to correlate with Clinical Ladder level.
Bilingual skills desirable.
Life Support Certifications required:
1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and 2) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 12 months of hire or transfer into the position.
