Summary:
Responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner.
Equipment may include heavy duty agricultural tractors & equipment (Case Steiger Tractors), dozers, compactor, forklift, and other pieces of equipment.

Heavy equipment Operator:
3 years Essential job functions:
Operate all heavy equipment in safe and efficient way according to all relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
All heavy equipment operators must be trained according to company policy Perform daily safety and maintenance checks Clean heavy equipment as scheduled or required Ensure heavy equipment is safely and securely stored Participate in routine maintenance (lube, clean, pre-trip inspections etc.
) Practice work place safety Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of equipment safety Ability to operate required equipment in a safe and responsible manner Decision making skills Effective verbal and listening skills Ability to read and write to record any mechanical issues and pre-trip/post trip inspections Positive outlook Demonstrate strong work ethic Willingness to participate in a random drug screen program Ability to work with others
